Frequently Asked Questions
What is OPENGAME?
OpenGame is an Erasmus+ project intended to promote the inclusion of open educational resources and open educational practices into higher education. To achieve that goal, one of the results of this project will be a gamified experience for high education teachers, which will be based on real practices collected from other European colleges.
WHO is developing the project?
The coordination of the project is in charge of the Research Institute for Innovation & Technology in Education (UNIR iTED), at Universidad Internacional de La Rioja (UNIR), in Spain. Also from Spain, Universidad de Salamanca; from France, Université of Nantes; from Portugal, Universidade Aberta; from Germany, Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg; and from Ireland, Dublin City University.
WHO can participate in the project?
Once the tools to perform the training process are developed, a piloting process will be performed. If you are in contact with or belong to some of the organisations in the consortium, you could participate in that moment. Otherwise, since OpenGame is an Erasmus+ project, once the piloting phase is overcome, you can participate for free and you will have access to all the resources.
I’m a Higher Education teacher, HOW can I benefit from the project?
The project intends to be an inspiration for teachers who do not know about open education or lack the motivation to include it in their daily teaching. In this sense, the project will foster awareness by providing teachers with a) other colleges’ practices; b) an attractive and gamified training environment, and c) access to the tools and capacities to put them into practice with their students
WHEN will I be able to see the results of the project?
Although the gamified experience is one of the most attractive results, previous works will have an outcome to be shared, which you will be available to be accessed by this website, in the link “Results”. As part of those results, in May’20 will be available the next documents: a handbook to get inspiration and a course curriculum. In March’21 the gamified application is expected.
